LaTeX in Easy Mode
TeXy is a LaTeX editor that runs on your desktop, works like the tools you're used to, and makes you forget you're writing LaTeX in the first place.
14 days free, then 19,99€ once

1Three modes of operation
A sight to behold. Prefer to write the markup? Write like it's a text doc in Source mode. Want some control but without the setup? Use Blocks mode. And if you want to forget you're writing LaTeX, Visual mode is there for you!
- Source
- The plain LaTeX, exactly as saved
- Blocks
- Equations, lists and figures become blocks, with math and citations rendering inline
- Visual
- A Notion-style editor that hides the markup and allows you to focus

4FAQ
Do I need to install TeX?
No! Tectonic is built in. If a document needs pdfLaTeX or LuaLaTeX, TeXy helps you install TeX Live or MacTeX!
Can I keep working with co-authors on Overleaf?
Yes! TeXy saves plain .tex files. Sync them through Git and everyone keeps their editor.
Is there a Windows version?
Not yet.
Does TeXy send my writing anywhere?
No! Everything runs on your computer.
